We give praise to God for the safe return home of the 27 people on our missions team. The team experienced God’s provision and presence in a powerful way as we served alongside the Herko Family Mission team.
We worshipped at Old Harbour Church and saw 3 people baptized on Sunday. The work we did included: painting at the church and constructing shelving; construction and painting a new house for a church member; and holding VBS for over 350 children and parents.
Thank you to all our CPCC family who upheld us in prayer, supported us financially and donated the many supplies we needed. It was a privilege to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
"When you think of a mission trip what comes to mind? For me it was doing something for God that stretches my faith. What I didn’t expect was to grow feelings for a community of people in some county so far away so quickly. It was tough to leave with so much more to do. We are often willing to help people next door or in our church but we draw some intangible boundary on how far from home we are willing to go. God has no boundaries though. I understand that so much more now. We forget that people everywhere need to know about Gods love. Can’t wait to go again." Tim Cassidy
