The Best Question Ever
Teacher: Brent & Betsy Carter
Dates: Begins July 12
10:00 am
We've all made some pretty dumb decisions in our lives. For most of us, there are chapters in the past we would like to rewrite. There's money we wish we had never spent, relationships we had never started and perhaps a few invitations we had never accepted. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to reverse the bad decisions of the past. But there is certainly no reason to repeat them either. This six-part series bu author and minister Andy Stanley, focuses our attention on one question that has the power to fool proof our decision making from this point forward.
The Five Love Languages
Teachers: Scott & Melena Siebert
Dates: June 28-July 26 (no class July 5)
10:00 am
He sends you flowers when what you really want is time to talk. She gives you a hug when what you really need is a home-cooked meal. The problem isn’t your love – it’s your love language! In this course, based on Dr. Gary Chapman’s book, The Five Love Languages, we will explore how different people express love in different ways. In fact, there are five specific languages of love: quality time, words of affirmation, gifts, acts of service and physical touch. Apply the right principles, learn the right language, and soon you’ll know the profound satisfaction and joy of being able to express your love – and feeling truly loved in return.

Power of a Praying Parent
Teacher: Shelly Hauer
Dates: June 7-Aug 2 (no class July 5)
10:00 am
In this eight-week class, we’ll look at the importance of praying for our children, covering thirty-one different areas of concern. In small groups, class participants will discuss their parenting experiences as they relate to each chapter’s prayer concerns: sharing what strategies have worked for them as well as sharing topics they’re currently struggling with. In addition to the eight CORE class meetings, this group of participants will meet one more time (in a home location) with children, so we, as a group, can pray directly over those children we’ve lifted up throughout our time together in class. (Based on Stormie Omartian’s book, Power of a Praying Parent.)
